In response to Naman's findings, the mayor of Orange Beach - the town located on Cotton Bayou - said that the City would conduct its own, independent tests: The City's test results have now come back, showing 66 parts per million of dispersant. The City Engineer for Orange Beach - Kit Alexander - also states that the EPA sets the screening level for dispersant at 750 parts per million (see above video).In other words, the EPA doesn't even test for Corexit at concentrations of less than 750 ppm, even though Corexit at much lower concentrations kills marine life. I have personally been copied with emails sent to the Coast Guard documenting continued spraying of Corexit. There's been some speculation by bloggers, including John Young of Cryptome.com , that the leak is part of a disinformation operation, and that the documents themselves could even be fake, their release to the press an act of collusion between the government and WikiLeaks. This is because of the fact that the leaked documents are digital files with no signature to prove their authenticity, that they were released immediately to the mainstream media instead of directly to the public on the web, and that their release has been covered extensively by the American press, when in the past the issue of civilian deaths in Afghanistan and Iraq have been downplayed by the mainstream media...even ignored. So far, there's no evidence yet to prove that the White House or the Pentagon conspired with WikiLeaks to stage the documents' release-- just speculation. One might wonder why the U.S. government would want to do such a thing when the information in the documents paint a grim picture of the war in Afghanistan as a hopeless, bloody waste of money and human life. The teen — an Ecuadorian who escaped and stumbled wounded to a military checkpoint on a highway — told authorities that his captors had identified themselves as Zetas, a drug gang whose control of parts of the northern state of Tamaulipas is so brutal and complete that even many Mexicans avoid traveling its highways. The 19-year-old staggered to the checkpoint with a bullet wound in his neck and face, saying he had played dead to escape from Zetas gunmen at a ranch in San Fernando, just 100 miles south of Brownsville, Texas. He told investigators that Zetas gunmen intercepted the migrants as they moved toward the border, then took them blindfolded to the ranch where they were told to hand over cash, the source said. The migrants had little cash, the teen reportedly said, and the gunmen then told them they could work as Zetas assassins and get paid $2,000 a month. It was not clear if they were supposed to work in the United States. When the migrants refused, the gunmen opened fire, the source described the teen as saying. While the teen's name had been reported earlier, msnbc.com has decided to remove it given concerns he could be targeted. President Felipe Calderon vowed to investigate how his name was leaked, saying he "personally gave the order to shield the witness' identity." There are no reports of casualties so far, and aviation in the area is unaffected. Mount Sinabung, in the north of Sumatra, began erupting around midnight after rumbling for several days. Lava was overflowing from its crater, the head of Indonesia 's vulcanology centre told Reuters news agency. The agency has placed the volcano on red alert, its highest level. "Despite decreasing activities since the eruption, we haven't downgraded the status level," said Surono, who like many Indonesians goes by one name. "This is the first time since 1600 that Sinabung has erupted, and we have little knowledge in terms of its eruptive patterns and general forms." Officials evacuated at least 12,000 people from high-risk areas on the slopes of the 2,460 metre-high volcano to temporary shelters. The area around the volcano is largely agricultural. The health ministry put medical posts on standby and distributed face masks, though there were no reports of casualties, according to Mudjiarto, head of the health ministry's crisis centre. There were no reports of disruption to flights in and out of the nearest big city to the volcano, Medan. Indonesia is located on the so-called Pacific ring of fire, an arc of volcanoes and geological faultlines surrounding the Pacific basin.

The Russian space solar observatory known as TESIS photographed a series of powerful flares on the Sun. Each of the subsequent flares was more powerful than the previous one. Scientists said that they could observe such strong flares more than two years ago. They believe that the Sun tries to wake up and end the long period of the minimal activity. A Russian-made satellite delivered a system of telescopes, TESIS, on Earth’s orbit nearly a year ago. The system is designed to conduct the non-stop monitoring of the solar activity. TESIS receives and transmits to Earth the information about all events taking place on the surface of the Sun. The system provides the X-ray observation and the description of the Sun’s magnetic field among other functions. The system gives scientists an opportunity to be informed about all changes happening on the surface of the Sun, including outbursts of the solar activity. On January 19, the system registered a series of bright flares. The power of the flares was growing gradually. The first flare with the rate of C4.9 took place on the Sun at about 9 a.m. Greenwich Mean Time. The next flare – C5.2 – took place several minutes later. The most recent record of the solar activity was reported on December 16, 2009 at the rate of C5.3. At about 13:30 o’clock the Sun emitted the largest portion of power in the history of observations. Packs were out last night for delivery today but were returned to D.C. overnight as a result of FORGED ORDERS provided to the carrier, UPS, which held the packs in their offices until they were retrieved shortly before noon.  They are not innocent. It can now be stated that all the US dollars connected to legitimate commerce are backed by gold at the rate of 1/28 th of a gram per dollar. The remaining Federal Reserve Board debt notes will soon fall in value to 0.03 cents, according to extremely high level financial sources. This means all legitimate businessmen and workers paid in US dollars have nothing to worry about. However, high level con-artists selling financial “derivatives,” will be left with 0.03% of what they thought they owned. It is amazing to see how many intelligent “well informed” people still do not have a clue about what is going on.
