IN GOD’S EYES
by Candace Carteen, Portland, Oregon
By the time I was ten, I was totally ashamed of my father. All my
friends called him names: Quasi-Moto, hunchback, monster,
little Frankenstein, the crooked little man with the crooked little
cane. At first it hurt when they called him those things, but soon I
found myself agreeing with them. He was ugly, and I knew it!
My father was born with something called parastremmatic dwarfism.
The disease made him stop growing when he was about thirteen and caused
his body to twist and turn into a grotesque shape. It wasn’t too bad
when he was a kid. I saw pictures of him when he was about my age. He
was a little short but quite good-looking. Even when he met my mother
and married her when he was nineteen, he still looked pretty normal. He
was still short and walked with a slight limp, but he was able to do
just about anything. Mother said, “He even
used to be a great dancer.”
Soon after my birth, things started getting worse. Another genetic
disorder took over, and his left foot started turning out, almost
backward. His head and neck shifted over to the right; his neck became
rigid and he had to look over his left shoulder a bit. His right arm
curled in and up, and his index finger almost touched his elbow. His
spine warped to look something like a big, old roller
coaster and it caused his torso to lie sideways instead of straight up
and down like a normal person. His walk became slow, awkward, and
deliberate. He had to almost drag his left foot as he used his deformed
right arm to balance his gait.
I hated to be seen with him. Everyone stared. They seemed to pity
me. I knew he must have done something really bad to have God hate him
that much.
By the time I was seventeen, I was blaming all my probl

After many reported sightings, these images were recorded in
mid-August this year. They are of a field approximately 1 mile
north-east of Preston Smith International airport, Lubbock, Texas.

Thursday, October 8 Dog Poet Transmitting.......
Listen up Howdy Doody; you’re a waste of carbon, oxygen and water,
not to mention space. You’re a low-down, snake-eyed liar and a paid
political whore for the nastiest psychopaths on the planet. I
understand you wouldn’t be president otherwise but that doesn’t justify
it. I remember little things that clued me early on. I remember Warren
Buffet being in your corner and then I remembered Warren Buffet and Jacob Rothschild meeting with Schwarzenegger .
I remember little things and vague associations across time. I also
remember the things people say because I actually listen to them.
As soon as I saw you, my first thought
was, “there goes a cool cucumber of a long tall drink of water from the
Lincoln Reflecting Pool, minus the Lincoln ”.
You reminded me of one of those Chicago Pimps without the leopard skin
coat. Politics is a world of strange contradictions. That’s how you can
be both a pimp and a whore at the same time and have it make perfect
sense.
I know there are those who will say it’s a
big job being president of, the soon to no longer be, the most powerful
nation on Earth. Maybe that’s why people can imagine that a lot of what
gets done there isn’t your decision. However, I know the impact the
president can have on policy and I also know that even with powerful
opposition, the president can stand for the right thing.
You were elected on the platform of ‘hope
and change’. Hope’s a hard thing to kill because it will remain as long
as fools can dream. The only change I’ve seen is that you’ve expanded
the theater of the conflicts you swore to end. I’m especially intrigued
about your hypocrisy over the Guantanamo
detainees. Any one who wants to, knows that most of those people were
kidnapped and sold by opportunistic warlords and, since 9/11 was done
by the former administration, in tandem with Israel, there are no other
9/11 terrorists.
Hi-ranking members of the CIA have gone o

Could you go to sleep at night and not wonder if these houses would be there the next morning?
The top on is for the parents. The little one is for the kids.
Better talk to! All gore about global warming.
I've heard of people's bridge work. But this is ridiculous.
Got a little problem with dampness at your house?
Not during hurricane season, thank you.
Tree below, flowers above, some people are just weird.
Long climb after a day's work!
How did they get that car in there?
Consider the panic if you hear a branch crack.
Most people use trees for a windbreak
Don't want visitors? Just unhook the cable. Just might catch on.

It is like being on a different planet .... These pictures and information are excellent Viewing and reading. Socotra Island : you have to see it to believe it This island simply blows away any notion about what is considered "normal" for a landscape on Earth.
Imagine waking up on the Socotra Island and taking a good look around you . After a yelp of disbelief, you'd be inclined to think you were transported to another planet - or traveled to another era of Earth's history.
The second would be closer to the truth for this island, which is part of a group of 4 islands, has been geographically isolated from mainland Africa for the last 6 or 7 million years. Like the Galapagos Islands , this island is teeming with 700 extremely rare species of flora and fauna, a full 1/3 of which are endemic, I.e. Found nowhere else on Earth.
The climate is harsh, hot and dry, and yet - the most amazing plant life thrives there. Situated in the Indian Ocean 250 km from Somalia and 340 km from Yemen , the wide sandy beaches rise to limestone plateaus full of caves (some 7 kilometers in length) and mountains up to 1525 meters high.
The name Socotra is derived from a Sanscrit name, meaning "The Island of Bliss"... Is it the beaches? The isolation and quiet? Or the strange and crazy botanical allure?
Alien-looking plants: H. P. Lovecraft's secret inspiration?
Was the famous Chtulhu myths creator aware of these forbidding mountains with their hauntingly weird flora (think of plant mutations from his "The Color out of Space") ? We almost tempted to call Socotra the other "Mountains of Madness" - the trees and plants of this island were preserved thru the long geological isolation, some varieties

Take a little time to think that your life and your actions can never be separate from the influence of all of your relationships. Real wisdom comes in knowing the influence others have on you. The influence of society, your culture, your family and friends, your associates. But it goes deeper than that. The influence of the whole of life on you. The type of air you are breathing, the type of water you are drinking, the food you eat, and the different chemicals and minerals and the rest that surround you. But it goes deeper than that. Think of the influence that exists on your psyche from energies that you can't see or hear and may not even know about. But it goes deeper than that. Think of all of the past influences on you from all of the various relationships I have mentioned and how they have gone to make what you are today. You and I and all of life are, together, products of our relationships. We can't control all of these relationships and there is no denying of the powerful effects for good or ill in our lives. But we can understand that our relationships are made better by what we bring to them. Knowing the tremendous influence of our relationships on our lives should bring us to some humility. We can never reasonably accept that we did everything on our own. Also knowing of that tremendous influence of others on our lives should bring us to some empathy, compassion, and move us away from condemnation. We have all grown out of the soil of our relationships. If the fruit is bad, are we only to blame the fruit? http://grantlawrence.blogspot.com/ I work as a school counselor and mental health counselor in Gallup New Mexico.

We all need to read this one over and over until it becomes part of who we are. HOW TO STAY YOUNG 1.
Try everything twice. On Madam's (of Whelan's and Madam) tombstone she
wanted this epitaph: Tried everything twice...loved it both times! 2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down (keep this in mind if you are one of those grouches). 3.
Keep learning: Learn more about computers, crafts, gardening, whatever.
Never let the brain get idle. "An idle mind is the devil's workshop."
And the devil's name is Alzheimer's! 4. Enjoy the simple things. 5.
Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath. And if you
have a friend who makes you laugh, spend lots and lots of time with
that person. 6. The tears happen. Endure, grieve, and move on.
The only person who is with you your entire life is you. Lost time can
never be found. LIVE while you are alive. 7. Surround yourself
with what you love, whether it's family, pets, keepsakes, music,
plants, hobbies, whatever. Your home is your refuge. 8. Cherish
your health: If it is good, preserve it. If it is unstable, improve it.
If it is beyond what you can improve, get help. 9. Don't take
guilt trips. Take a trip to the mall, even to the next county, or a
foreign country, but NOT to where the guilt is. 10. Tell the people you love that you love them at every opportunity. I love you, my special friend. 11. Forgive now those who made you cry. You might not get a second time.12. Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.

MESSAGE FROM HATONN/ATON PHOENIX JOURNAL #111 – “BREATHING DEAD AND CEMENT CHILDREN” - ARE YOU LIVING OR DEAD?
This
may seem a strange place to add this next but then, I don't need to
account for my placement of information and insight--we just put it
where we have space.
This is going to be Chapter 3 of Gerry .Spence's book .FROM FREEDOM TO SLAVERY: chapter 3.
[QUOTING:]
THE TYRANNY OF FEAR
The sides of the grave are lined with blankets of that stiff artificial
green, green grass undertakers use to hide the sight of hard earth, of
grass roots and tree roots chopped through by the gravedigger's shovel. The
green grass blankets distract the mourners from the cold fact that the
body will be lowered into six feet of dirt and gravel, that it would be
buried--buried and at last forgotten.
Inside the coffin the smell of the undertaker's cheap perfume covers the ascerbic odor of formaldehyde. Although
the corpse does not breathe, although its heart is still and stiff, the
blood coagulated in its veins, the arteries collapsed and sunken,
although the long, stainless-steel trocar has been inserted into the
stomach and the contents sucked out and replaced with chemicals, still
the corpse does not know that it is dead.
At the funeral parlor the corpse had put on quite a show. Shortly after the organist had begun playing "The Requiem", the corpse suddenly rose up from the satin and opened its eyes. What it saw cannot be known, for the corneas were wrinkled and the eyes dull and empty. Although
the jaws had been wired shut so as not to permit the mouth to sag open,
the corpse then began to emit long, flat sobs through its clenched
teeth.
"Do not shut the lid," the corpse cried. "I do not want to die."
"But you are already dead," the attendant replied politely.
"How can I be dead?" the corpse cried back. "I have never lived."
"Of course you have lived. And your time has come. Now be nice. Don't cause trouble. Let us shut the lid."

Having the support of an extended family can help parents
through many of the tougher times with child raising. Extended families
play an important part in at least three areas of parenting. The
extended family can assist with childcare needs on a limited or
full-time basis. They can come to the rescue when parents cannot see
solutions to problems that they face with their children. In this case,
twenty heads can be much better than two. The extended family can give
a greater sense of the importance of the family reputation and name
than just a single set of parents could ever do. Many parents
suffer through finding babysitters and childcare providers for their
small children. When these parents are attached to a strong extended
family unit, childcare is rarely a problem. Grandparents and aunts and
uncles frequently are only too willing to watch the little ones for an
evening or in an emergency. Often, permanent childcare solutions can be
found within the extended family that will give dependable care at a
large monetary savings to young parents. Because of the availability of
childcare, parents will have far fewer absences from work due to
problems in this area. In an extended family that spans multiple
generations, parenting help is easy to find. Questions that arise about
situations in children's lives often have already been faced and
answered by previous generations of family members. Having a lot of
such people also means that the family will have influence in the
school and other public venues that will help keep young lives out of
trouble.Extended families also can give children a sense of
depth and importance that a nuclear family cannot achieve. Children can
see the value of a good name extending back through multiple
generations. This builds a sense of family pride and self-esteem into
the child. The feeling of being with your own kind and having a place
to belong cannot be overstated. The fam

A
group of graduates, well established in their careers, were talking at
a reunion and decided to go visit their old university professor, now
retired. During their conversation it turned to complaints about stress
in their work and lives. Offering his guests hot chocolate, the
professor went into the kitchen and returned with a large pot of hot
chocolate and an assortment of cups -porcelain, glass, crystal, some
plain looking, some expensive, some exquisite - telling them to help
themselves to the hot chocolate. When they all had a
cup of hot chocolate in hand, the professor said: "Notice that all the
nice looking, expensive cups were taken, leaving behind the plain and
cheap ones. While it is normal for you to want only the best for
yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress. The cup
that you're drinking from adds nothing to the quality of the hot
chocolate. In most cases it is just more expensive and in some cases
even hides what we drink. What all of you really wanted was hot
chocolate, not the cup; but you consciously went for the best cups...
And then you began eyeing each other's cups. Now
consider this: Life is the hot chocolate; your job, money and position
in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain life.
The cup you have does not define, nor change the quality of life you
have. Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the
hot chocolate. The happiest people don't have the best of everything.
They just make the best of everything that they have. Live simply. Love
generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. And enjoy your hot chocolate.

Featuring
FBI Special Agent James Fitzgerald and the 9-11 Missile
by Ken Welch in Houston
Many visitors to this site are uncertain about exactly what reversed
speech is. During several years leading up to Y2K, millions of
listeners tuned in to Art Bell's late night radio show, Coast To Coast
A.M., to listen to the latest speech reversals from Bill Clinton and
other newsworthy figures. While there was a growing understanding of
the value and methodology at that time, RS has largely disappeared from
mass media since then. So it's only natural that you may be a bit
fuzzy on exactly what it involves.
Reversed speech has the potential to create a new
millennium based on truth rather than lies, which could easily mean the
difference between freedom and global slavery. This would be a
landmark change for mankind, so an increased understanding and use of
RS could easily be the most significant event for planet Earth since
the Flood.
There are two essential facts about reversed speech. The first is that it is a totally natural
phenomena, a fundamental fact about human beings and therefore of
tremendous significance. Over the long run its discovery will be right
up there with the discovery of electricity. The second is the fact
that finding most speech reversals is not difficult, and you can easily do it yourself .
All it takes is a relatively inexpensive sound editing program that
works with sound the way a word processor works with text. I use
Sony's Sound Forge, which was originally created by Sonic Foundry.
There is a "lite" version that is perfect for reversed speech.
Naturally, it takes practice and your skills will build over time. If you are at all interested in national affairs, now is the ideal time
to get started because there is more good audio out there on the web
than ever before. Knowing what is really going on behind the scenes
can be a very valuable resource. Of course, in all areas of life, RS
