green shoots any more, and even the deficit hawks have gone into
hibernation. It feels like the calm before the storm, which is why all
eyes were on Jackson Hole this morning where Fed chairman Ben Bernanke
delivered his verdict on the state of the economy on Friday. Wall
Street was hoping the Fed would "go big" and promise another hefty dose
of quantitative easing to push down long-term interest rates and jolt
consumers out of their lethargy. But Bernanke provided few details
choosing instead this vague commitment: The Committee is
prepared to provide additional monetary accommodation through
unconventional measures if it proves necessary, especially if the
outlook were to deteriorate significantly." Check. There's no
doubt that Helicopter Ben would be in mid-flight right now tossing
bundles of $100 bills into the jet-stream like confetti if he had the
option. But Bernanke is fighting a rearguard action from inside the FOMC
where a fractious group of rebels want to wait and see if the recent
downturn is just a blip on the radar or something more serious, another
tumble into recessionary hell.This week, the markets were
blindsided by two days of dismal housing news, grim durable goods
orders, a slowdown in manufacturing, and modest gains in employment. 4

Needless to say, this recording caused quite a stir.
The official reaction was Kenney
was simply confused about the dates.
The Federal Emergency Management
Agency has said it did not have urban search and rescue teams in
place in New York City prior to the Sept. 11 attacks, contrary to an
Internet-based rumor alleging otherwise. ... FEMA officials said
Kenney, in the heat of the moment, misstated his team's arrival

However, on the recording Kenney is complaining about not getting
full access to the site until "today". Kenney talks about a Monday, a
Tuesday, and "today". That's three days.
Ifthe above recording was made on Wednesday,
September 12th as claimed, then the explanation that Kenney was simply
confused about the days doesn't work, because there is one more day than
can be accounted for.

A few months ago, I received an angry email from a young woman called
Victoria. Having ticked me off severely for various things I’d said in
an article — and after afurther exchange of emotional letters — Victoria, who was half Jewish, told me she
would no longer be writing to me. So I wrote her a valedictory note in
which I took my leave of her with the friendly words, “ Farewell, my dear Jewess! ”
Silence ensued for several weeks. And then, to my surprise, I received
another confrontational letter from Victoria informing me that she was
writing to me again (a) “to correct certain misconceptions you have”,
and (b) to tell me that writing to me was “pointless.”
I found this quite amusing. It’s not often I get letters listing all my
shortcomings and telling me how pointless it is writing to me. It makes

This is the letter I wrote Victoria in response to her final
communication. I don’t usually write such long letters to my

byFinianCunningham Global Research , June 7, 2010 As the United Nations nuclear inspections body, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), meets in Vienna later this week to discuss its latest report on Iran , there are signs that Washington is now writing the IAEAs script.
The most glaring indication of the IAEAs appeasement of US
belligerence over the latters allegations of Iranian nuclear
ambitions, and therefore the need for further punitive UN sanctions, is
the gaping omission from the agencys report of the Tehran nuclear fuel swap declaration.
Despite
acknowledging that the agency has yet again not found any evidence to
suggest the diversion of nuclear material from civilian purposes, the
IAEA nevertheless draws the conclusion that it remains concerned about
the possible existence in Iran of past or current undisclosed nuclear
related activities, involving military related organisations, including
activities related to the development of a nuclear payload for a
missile.
The
report dated 31 May found its way into the media on 1 June ahead of the
IAEA Board of Governors meeting scheduled for this week.
The report also states that Iran
has amassed 2,427 kg of low-enriched (3-5 per cent) uranium. Contrary
to the relevant resolutions of the [IAEAs] Board of Governors and the
Security Council, Iran has not suspended enrichment related activities, it says, adding: Iran
is not implementing the requirements contained in the relevant
resolutions of the Board of Governors and the Security Council which
are essential to building confidence in the exclusively peaceful purpose
of Iran s nuclear programme.
Conveniently for Washington s
strenuous efforts to cohere the five permanent members of the UN
Security Council to vote through a fourth round of sanctions against Iran perhaps also this week the IAEA report played into the fevered imaginations of mainstream Western media outlets.

be a very sick way of publicizing a
new American movie opening this week about the US Pentagons decades long

least 13 US Soldiers preparing for deployment to the Iraq war from the giant US
military base of Fort Hood, Texas.
From Western propaganda news media reports on this massacre the American
people are being told that a US Army Military Trained Psychiatrist, Major
Nidal Malik Hasan [photo top left], became
despondent over his recently receiving orders to deploy to Iraq and in typical lone gunman fashion decided to open fire on hundreds of his
fellow soldiers killing and wounding them without discrimination.

machines are reporting such idiocies as Major Hasan having previously complained
to relatives of harassment by fellow-officers mocking him for being Middle

motives of suicide bombers that was not formally investigated .

Uzbekistan, a place where widespread torture practices include raping
suspects with broken bottles and boiling them alive, says a former
British ambassador to the central Asian country.
Craig Murray, the rector of the University of Dundee in Scotland and
until 2004 the UK's ambassador to Uzbekistan, said the CIA not only
relied on confessions gleaned through extreme torture, it sent terror
war suspects to Uzbekistan as part of its extraordinary rendition
program.
"I'm talking of people being raped with broken bottles," he said at a lecture late last month that was re-broadcast by the Real News Network .
"I'm talking of people having their children tortured in front of them
until they sign a confession. I'm talking of people being boiled alive.
And the intelligence from these torture sessions was being received by
the CIA, and was being passed on."
Human rights groups have long been raising the alarm about the legal
system in Uzbekistan. In 2007, Human Rights Watch declared that torture
is " endemic " to the country's justice system.
Murray said he only realized after his stint as ambassador that the
CIA was sending people to be tortured in Uzbekistan, country he
describes as a "totalitarian" state that has never moved on from its
communist era, when it was a part of the Soviet Union. Suspects in Uzbekistan's gulags "were being told to confess to
membership in Al Qaeda. They were told to confess they'd been in
training camps in Afghanistan. They were told to confess they had met
Osama bin Laden in person. And the CIA intelligence constantly echoed
these themes."

Pakistan's
pro-Taliban militants blame private US security firm Blackwater for a
Wednesday bomb blast in Peshawar which killed over 100 people.
Hakimullah Mehsud, head of the Tehrik-e-Taliban, said Blackwater
and some Pakistani agencies were involved in the bomb explosion at a
crowded market in Peshawar.
According to the latest reports, the death toll has mounted to 106
with over 150 injured while rescue workers say that more people could
still be buried under the debris. Most of the dead were women and
children.
Pakistan army says since the militants are facing defeat in the
South Waziristan tribal region, they are now targeting the people.
Mehsud has rejected the claim, saying the US security firm
Blackwater, in collaboration with some local agencies, were involved in
the attack.
On Sunday, about 200 supporters of the Tehrik-e-Taliban party held
an anti-US demonstration in Dera Ismail Khan, denouncing Blackwater and
chanting anti-US slogans.
The provincial chief of the Jamat-e-Islami party, Saraj-ul-Haq,
said that the Pakistani operation against militants, which is being
conducted 'with the consent of America', should be stopped as it only
fulfills the aims of the enemy.
"Now this is sure, that all the blasts, either carried out on
Faisal Mosque or Khyber Bazaar, are carried out by Blackwater," he
said.
About 28,000 soldiers are battling an estimated 10,000 pro-Taliban
militants, including about 1,000 tough Uzbek fighters and some Arab
al-Qaeda-linked members.
Analysts have warned of the possibility of more violence as the militants come under pressure in South Waziristan.

Related: APS warned not to debate global warming
The
American Physical Society, an organization representing nearly 50,000
physicists, has reversed its stance on climate change and is now
proclaiming that many of its members disbelieve in human-induced global
warming. The APS is also sponsoring public debate on the validity of
global warming science. The leadership of the society had previously
called the evidence for global warming “incontrovertible.”
In a posting
to the APS forum, editor Jeffrey Marque explains,”There is a
considerable presence within the scientific community of people who do
not agree with the IPCC conclusion that anthropogenic CO2 emissions are
very probably likely to be primarily responsible for global warming
that has occurred since the Industrial Revolution.”
The APS is opening its debate with the publication of a paper
by Lord Monckton of Brenchley, which concludes that climate sensitivity
— the rate of temperature change a given amount of greenhouse gas will
cause — has been grossly overstated by IPCC modeling. A low sensitivity
implies additional atmospheric CO2 will have little effect on global
climate.
Larry Gould,
Professor of Physics at the University of Hartford and Chairman of the
New England Section of the APS, called Monckton’s paper an “expose of
the IPCC that details numerous exaggerations and “extensive errors”
In an email to DailyTech ,
Monckton says, “I was dismayed to discover that the IPCC’s 2001 and
2007 reports did not devote chapters to the central ’climate
sensitivity’ question, and did not explain in proper, systematic detail
the methods by which they evaluated it. When I began to investigate, it

President Barack Obama
declared the swine flu outbreak a national emergency on Friday October
23, empowering the health secretary to suspend federal requirements and
speed up treatment.
His declaration authorizes Health and Human Services Secretary
Kathleen Sebelius to bypass normal federal regulations so health
officials can respond more quickly to the outbreak, which, allegedly,
has killed more than 1,000 people in the United States.
"As a nation, we have prepared at all levels of government, and as
individuals and communities, taking unprecedented steps to counter the
emerging pandemic," Obama wrote in the declaration, which the White
House announced Saturday.
He said the pandemic keeps evolving, the rates of illness are rising
rapidly in many areas and there's a potential "to overburden health
care resources."
Because of vaccine production delays, the government has backed off
initial estimates that 120 million doses would be available by
mid-October. As of mid-October, only 11 million doses had been shipped
to health departments, doctor's offices and other providers, according
to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention officials said.
The government now estimates to have about 50 million doses of swine
flu vaccine out by mid-November and 150 million in December.

This was a work camp
This is a factual list of facilities
available to prisoners at the alleged Nazi death camp of Auschwitz in Poland.
Most of these facilities can still be seen in the camp today, including the cinema,
swimming pool, hospital, library and post office.
Visits were routine Supposedly the most dreaded of German camps, Auschwitz was repeatedly visited by Red Cross
inspection teams who were allowed to speak to prisoner representatives alone, in
order to hear first-hand of any mistreatment, chicanery, interruption of
mail and parcel delivery, health concerns, food and ration matters etc.
No such visits took place -
ever! - to Soviet Gulag camps.
Auschwitz, the supposed "death camp", had many facilities amongst which were;

facilities,, attended by camp inmate dentists and nurses to deal with the
inmates' dental problems - before the war there 43% of Germany's dentists were Jewish -
Camp sick barracks ,attended by camp inmate
doctors and nurses to deal with the inmates' health problems - much like the now common
walk-in clinics in modern US communities - A camp hospital to which
expert surgeons even from the famous Berlin "Charit" Surgical Clinic were
dispatched to deal with difficult cases -

The
government census has over the last year made a very big push to get
GPS readings at your front door as many reading this are aware of. When
they came to your house they did not ask "any" questions that a census
taker would normally ask such as how many live here; where are you
from; what is your name; how old are you; how many children, the only
thing they were assigned to do was take a GPS reading at the entrance
to your property and at your front door. I
personally live way off the grid at this time. 14 miles out on dirt
roads with my closest neighbor a 1/4 mile away and the next 5 miles
away. I may see two or three cars a year out here from a venturesome
explorer. But then three months ago there was an individual at my front
gate taking a GPS reading. When he opened my gate to come inside I
approached him. He said he was from the census, and he had his little
census name tag clipped on his shirt. Well,
we chatted for a while, and as we did he walked over to my front door
and took another GPS reading. Now I am getting a little suspicious and
the red flags are triggering. He then started walking towards my other
structures to take a GPS reading and at that point I told him: I did
not mind him taking a GPS reading from my front gate but wanting to
take a GPS reading from each entrance to each structure with him noting
each structure on the reading and then a GPS reading of my fence area,
and without asking "one" normal census question, I at that point told
him to get off the property. He continued to try and take more GPS
readings so I stood in front of him 10 inches from his face and said in
a strong tone: "I guess you did not understand me, leave"He
then walked back to his SUV and left. Two days latter a woman came by
and parked at my front gate. When I approached she tried to drive off
but I intercepted her and said: "can I help you, are you lost?" She
said she was a supervisor who worke

EXPLANATORY NOTE
The
following statement of Japanese foreign policy was surprisingly accurate
in its forecasting of future events. It is interesting to note how these
events are suggested in this paper. The statement is made that on account
of the absorption of the European nations in the Great War, "now
is the most opportune moment for Japan to quickly solve the Chinese question.
We should by all means decide and act at once." Within a month, or
two months after this statement was made, the Twenty-one Demands were
served on China. Most of their terms were mentioned in the list of, objections
under the "Secret Terms of the Defensive Alliance." This Defensive
Alliance was eventually concluded three years later in May, 1918. The
share of Japan in assisting the revolutionists to stir up trouble in China
was also mentioned. "We should induce the Chinese Revolutionists,
the Imperialists and other Chinese malcontents to create trouble all over
China." Yuan Shih-kai was considered an avowed enemy of Japan; and
the Black Dragon Society advised his overthrow. "The whole country
will be thrown into disorder and Yuan's Government will consequently be
overthrown." The Agreement concluded with Russia in 1916 was forecasted
in the statement: "At this moment it is of paramount importance for
Japan to come to a special understanding with Russia to define our respective
spheres in Manchuria and Mongolia so that the two countries may co-operate
with each other in the future." The Lansing-Ishii agreement in 1917
was suggested in the phrases: "what Japan must now somewhat reckon
with is America; but America in her attitude towards us regarding our
policy toward China has already declared the principle of maintaining

was also Adolph Hitler’s half-brother (not father as initially reported)
according to Emily Elizabeth Catherine Josephine Mary Windsor-Cragg, [illegitimate]
daughter of Edward VIII Duke of Windsor.
“Hitler was born in 1889 five years before
Edward VIII, when "Georgie" (Victoria's favorite) was 23, long before
his marriage to May Teck. He was brought up and abused as the eldest son in
Bavaria, and Kaiser Wilhelm, the idealist, was in touch with him. The Duke of
Windsor met his older half-brother for the first time in Germany in 1937;
however, I have a document that shows Hitler was an intel agent for the British
in the 1920's, so he probably KNEW Wallis,” she says.
“Edward VIII Duke of Windsor was routed
out, scapegoated, bankrupted, exiled and labeled as Not-See because his wife,
unbeknownst to him on his wedding day, was an MI-5 agent of his Father, the

secret about Hitler’s parentage, says Lady Windsor-Cragg.
This information about Hitler contradicts
the results of an Austrian Parliamentary investigation and other testimony by
close Hitler aides that his father was the Baron Rothschild. Hopefully
authorities in the UK will act promptly to check the Royal diary archives to
confirm Lady Widnsor-Cragg’s assertions before the evidence is hidden.

than 100 dump trucks piled high with garbage line the narrow road
leading to Zhanglidong, waiting to empty their loads in a landfill as
big as 20 football fields. In less than five years, the
Zhengzhou Comprehensive Waste Treatment Landfill has overwhelmed this
otherwise pristine village of about 1,000 people. Peaches and cherries
rot on trees, infested with insect life drawn by the smell. Fields lie
unharvested, contaminated by toxic muck. Every day, another 100 or so
tons of garbage arrive from nearby Zhengzhou, a provincial capital of 8
